The Maxum design is based on the Xcalibur biplane.  Brandon Chitty was our co-designer and helped us smooth the lines and flight performance of the Xcalibur.  Brandon took this plane to the 2007 Etoc and finished 7th.  In 2008, He won the I-Hobby contest in Chicago.

This little plane is very stiff, yet extremely light. The unique "box" fuselage eliminates the dreaded tail twist which haunts "X" type fuselages.  The wing structure gains additional lift from the X struts and will hold a knife-edge almost hands off.  The Maxum builds fast (about 2 hours).

This is an awesome plane, indoors or out!!!

Maxum - Flightpower Scheme
